Marzieh Talebi – Founder/ Director
Marzieh was one of the two original founders of UGCA in 2008. Since then, she has finished her undergraduate degree in International Relations and Global Politics at the American University of Rome, and is currently enrolled at the Maastricht Graduate School of Governance (UNU-Merit programme) for a Masters in Public Policy and Human Development. She has previously interned at both the World Food Programme and the NATO Defence College in Rome.
Pieter Beer – Vice-Director
Since July 2008 (when UGCA was founded), Pieter attended the Technical University of Eindhoven and his finishing his undergraduate degree in Architecture this academic year.
Aside from being the vice-director of UGCA, he has worked as a research assistant for the PhD candidate and is the editor in chief of the Chepos magazine, a student run architectural magazine at TU Eindhoven. He is also a student assistant at his university.
Andrew Sutjahjo – Project Coordinator
Andrew has acquired his undergraduate degree in psychobiology, organised introduction weeks and weekends for his surfing society and co-founded Geeds. Andrew is currently enrolled at the University of Amsterdam for a Masters in Brain and Cognitive Sciences, is a student assistant and aiding in developing projects for UGCA.
Marzieh, Pieter and Andrew all met at the International School of Hilversum. They were members of the class of 2008.
